In 2023, the Château de Collias commissioned Thomas Henriot to create a series of in situ drawings in the former residence once owned by Napoleon.
The artists of the Viúva Lamego workshop in Lisbon, Portugal, then transposed these drawings onto ceramic tiles.
These tiles now cover the walls of the newly designed bathrooms in the château, which has been transformed into a five-star hotel — offering visitors the striking presence of a contemporary artist’s intervention within a heritage site.
