“The Book of Flowers” is a series of recurring drawings that have been present in Henriot’s work almost since its inception.
It first took shape in India, where he drew flowers covering skeletons, then the bodies of lovers still yearning.
Here, a dialectic emerges: the flower covering the flesh becomes an offering, a gesture that summons elevation.
