Morocco was one of the first destinations the artist explored during his studies at the Beaux-Arts.
It was there that he created his first scrolls, using Indian ink and a brush.
A devoted returnee ever since, he has forged a deep connection with this land of painters, a country that has left a clear imprint on his entire body of work, notably through his series on Essaouira, Tangier, Casablanca, and Rabat.
